Favorites
The favorites feature lets you save products for easy access later, as well as create custom ‘favorite lists’ with the help of OETC support.
Adding Items to Favorites
- Click “Add to Favorites” in the top right corner of any individual product pageAlternatively, add multiple items to your favorites at once by selecting several and clicking “Save to Favorites” at the bottom of the page
- To view your favorites, click the “Favorites” button at the top right of the screen
Managing your favorites
- To view your favorites, click the “Favorites” button at the top right of the screen
- From the pop up menu, select the item you want or click the magnifying icon in the top right for more options and the ability to rename your favorites
- Once in “My Favorites List” you can compare up to 10 items against each other by selecting each item, clicking in the drop down menu at the top labeled “Select One” and clicking “Compare”. You can add several items to the cart in the same way, by clicking “Add to Cart”.
Removing, renaming and reordering favorites
- In the “My Favorites List” menu, click the pencil icon in the top right of the window
- In that menu you can:
- Remove items from your favorites by clicking the black X on the right hand side of the screen
- Rename items by clicking the grey pencil on the left hand side, entering a new name and then selecting the black check mark to save the changes
- Reorder the favorites by selecting “Re-order Lines” in the top left hand corner. Remember to finish by clicking “Apply Changes” at the top left
Creating and managing favorite lists
These lists are available to anyone in your organization who has an OETC Shop log in. To create a favorites list, please contact OETC support and they will help you get set up. Once your first favorites list is created, you’ll be able to create your own without our help.
Favorites lists are great for frequently purchased together items — for example, add all the items used to set up a new classroom, then hit ‘add to cart’ rather than searching for and adding each item individually.
- Once your first favorites list has been set up by OETC Support, to access your lists:
- Click “Favorites” at the top right of the page
- Click the magnifying glass icon to manage your lists or select a specific favorite list to manage it directly
- To create your own favorites list:
- Click “Create New Favorites List”
- Enter a name and optional description and then select “Save.”
- From there, you can Add favorites, headers or re-order the items in your favorites
- To add items to your favorites list
- Navigate to your Favorites List admin window (see above)
- Select “Add Favorite”
- Paste in an item’s part number and click on the associated item in the drop down menu. You may give the item a nickname if desired
- Hit “Add Item”
- Continue to add items to your list in the same fashion or click “cancel” to go back to managing the list
