Disable Account Creation
This feature is available to Institutional Administrators only.
The OETC Store gives Institutional Administrators the ability to control who can create accounts for the institution. If account creation is enabled, anyone with an "Allowed Email Domain" will be able to create an account on the OETC store and purchase using a credit card. The allowed email domain(s) associated with your account was determined when you set up your account. For security purposes, if you need to change this information, you will need to contact OETC directly. If you don't want anyone with an "Allowed Email Domain" to be able to create an account, you need to disable "Account Creation".
To disable account creation, please follow these steps:
- Log in to the OETC Store.
- Click the account dropdown menu in the top right corner and select "Users and Groups".
- In the "Account Creation" section, click on "Edit Settings". Then click on the dropdown menu that appears, choose "Disabled", and then click on "Finish Editing".
