Changes to the EES Agreement
Microsoft has made two changes to the Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) Agreement for 2017-2018.
Processor to Core Licensing
SQL and Windows Server licensing has moved from per processor licensing to core licensing. Users now have to license by core instead of processor. For Windows Server, licenses are sold in two core packs and a minimum of 16 cores per server is required. For SQL, a minimum of 4 core licenses for each physical processor must be licensed.
Visual Studio Pro
Visual Studio Pro is now only available through the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN).
